We've been incredibly busy and want to show off some of the more interesting projects we've had the pleasure to work on.   Derby lands a national COKE commercial with This Conversation for the company's "Reach" campaign.

  Furvis's Preachy gets heard on the ever-popular ARMY WIVES.

  PRETTY UGLY PEOPLE wins Jury Prize at the Long Island Film Festival, Audience Award at Crossroads, and is named Top 5 Films To See at the Detroit/Windsor Festival. We music supervised the film.

  The Elevator Drops' Jules is used in TOYOTA's Sequoia online commercial video with a free download of the track.

  She Blinded Me With Science is used in the film trailer for the animated IGOR feature, starring John Cleese, Eddie Izzard and John Cusack among a host of others.

  Sex and Reverb's rolling pop Lord What Have I Done is used in the made-for-TV movie classic remake of KNIGHT RIDER.

  MEN IN TREES continues its run with Optic Noise, using Carrie Akre's bluesy Grey, The Bella Faye's jangly Far From The Discos, Derby's Streetlight and Sunk A Few, Wanted from Ken Michaels, more Sex and Reverbwith In A Wider Sense Lost and Lael Alderman's acoustic Somedays You Have To Wonder.

  KYLE XY uses The Bella Fayes's Far From The Discos.

  New Orleans artist R Scully gets Little Miss used for the Kate Beckinsale/Forest Whitaker film WINGED CREATURES, along with I Know by Cabinessence and the Sex Pistols-like rocker Resistance from The Elevator Drops.

  The Spies's Sly Girl and This Episode's Move On is used in ABC's ELI STONE, along with Valedictorian by Matt The Electrician and Portland band Protest Hill's Sometimes.

  The Figg's garage pop No One Here But You and When I Marry You by Ben Arnold gets play in ABC's NOTES FROM THE UNDERBELLY.

  Men In Trees uses power pop Derby's All Or Nothing and If Ever There's A Reason, along with Sweden's Brainpool (Cottage Cheese) and New Orleans' Morning 40 Federation's White Powder, all in a single episode.

  Thomas Dolby's She Blinded Me With Science stays up late for Conan O'Brien.

  CBS's Numbers uses Sex and Reverb's Radiation and Sad Susie from Portland's The Bella Fayes.

  Derby's All Or Nothing gets an airing on the ABC series Eli Stone.

  Sex and Reverb lends its pop acoustic track Coroner to Men In Trees.

  New Orleans artist Alex McMurray gets heard on Fox's K-Ville with his swampy/bluesy Day After Mardi Gras Day.

  Even cavemen are advanced enough for Upside Down's Blackeye Liner, for the commercial turned TV show Cavemen.

  E! Entertainment's True Hollywood Story makes use of Thomas Dolby's 80's hit Hyperactive.

  The Go Sheilas' pop/punky Simple Plan is heard on this season's The Loop

  Discovery Channel uses Me First and the Gimme Gimme's punked up version of I'll Be There in its promo series.

  Late Night With Jay Leno uses Thomas Dolby's very scientific classic She Blinded Me With Science.

  Sex and Reverb drives another one home with Another Ending Has Begun for the Fox series Drive.

  Ken Michael's La La and Swedish rockers Brainpool's Junk gets an airing on ABC's Notes From the Underbelly.

  Notes From the Underbelly uses I'm The Man by SF's The Fingers.

  ABC'S "Notes From The Underbelly" uses Derby's "Sunk A Few" and poppy punk The Go Sheila's "Simple Plan".

  UK electronica artist LeMans track "All I Need From You" was used in the premier of F/X series Dirt.

  One Tree Hill featured "Junk" from Swedish alt popsters Brainpool.

  Sex & Reverb's "Coroner" and The Still Revival's "Neither Do I" is used in the ABC series What About Brian.

  Alexis Harte's quirky "Wiggle Room" and the Bella Fayes ode to classic romance "Love" is featured in the independent motion picture Careless.

  Thomas Dolby's classic hit "She Blinded Me With Science" is used for Discovery Channel's Mythbusters television promo campaign for the UK after its successful use in the US.

  N Network series The Block uses Sex & Reverb's poppy romantic track "In A Sense Lost".

  Fox's The Loop makes use of Fernando's "Everybody Knows", The Divorce's "Call The Police", Ben Arnold's "Lead Me On" and more Optic Noise artists for the series internet release.

  "She Blinded Me With Science" is featured in VH1's Greatest Hits of the Eighties.

  What About Brian uses Portland rockers Derby's "Sunk A Few", The Figgs' "Simon Simone" and "Sex & Reverb's "That Was Then". The ABC show also used "Blackeye Liner" by Portland's Upside Down, Mumblefinger's "Bettin' Half Blind" and "Up And Down the Aisle" from Ken Michaels.

  Thomas Dolby and JJ Abrams teamed up to compose a danceable, funky piece for JJ's own Mission Impossible 3.

  The Effects lend their efforts to the W/B's Everwood, with their track high energy rocker "She's Blinded".

  Mobb Deep's "Got It Twisted" is featured in 50 Cent's UK Concert online release.

  Moco's rocking, stylized track "Moco Loco" is heard in the season finale of the hit CBS show Numb3rs.

  Placements by Optic Noise's Eleventeen and Glen Phillips were wryly mentioned in The Wall Street Journal's online article about DVD TV releases. Perhaps we have a future in the stock market. Or not.

  Matt Brown's retro-esque "Let It Ride" was used in the TV series Reunion.

  W/B's Everwood used garage rockers The Figg's "I Was Dreaming" to rock out a scene.

  Playboy Channel's series Foursome featured ON's gritty Crud, including tracks "Reality", "Devil At The Wheel", "All Used Up" and "La Dee Da".

  "I Brought Kicks" by The Figgs was also used in Foursome, as was Karmacoda's downtempo remix of "Firefly".

  We will be speaking at the National Association of Record Industry Professionals panel "Money For Your Music" at Dolby Laboratories in San Francisco on Feb. 9th.   Kohl's Department Stores uses "She Blinded Me With Science"  in their new campaign, complete with a special hip hop mash version of the hit song.

  Divit's new pop rock track "I'll Be OK"  was used in the W/B's Jack & Bobby.

  Techo popster Garvy J contributes his incredibly infectious "All I Need"  for the ever-popular Everwood.

   Wake's dreamy Coldplay-esque "When Can I See You Again"  is used in the Lifetime movie Dive From Clausen's Pier starring Michelle Trachtenberg and Will Estes.

  Rockers Crud contribute "Devil At The Wheel"  for the trailer of the just released film Supercross.

  Optic Noise welcomes songwriter Bobby Sharp to its publishing representation roster. Sharp penned the timeless "Unchain My Heart", recorded by Ray Charles and Joe Cocker, as well as "Blues For Mister Charlie" (recorded by Sammy Davis, Jr) and a multitude of other beautiful classics.

  OpTic NoISe tracks are featured throughout the new Nickelodeon/The Noggin series "Best Friend's Date". Artists include Eleventeen's pop/punk, The Figg's raw and poppy sounds, pop rockers The Bella Fayes, Divit and the clever and catchy Royal 7, among many others of our catalog.

  Sex & Reverb's heartbreaking "Friend" and jangly pop "I Stood With the Shadow People"  join Alexis Harte's eloquent "Yellow Shoes"  for the W/B series.

  Our tracks include The Finger's bouncy pop "Know When You Know" and The Bella Fayes's just as bouncy "I Do Believe".

  Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science" is included in the wildly successful Trivial Pursuit release "Pop Culture" 2.0 DVD game. The track is a new recording/remix of his original 1983 hit.

  The feature-length, first ever all-gay horror movie will be in theaters this summer.

  Bongo Beat Records provided the original recording of Katrina & The Waves' "Walking On Sunshine" for the new HILLARY DUFF feature film "RAISE YOUR VOICE".

  Divit tracks find their way into TRU CALLING'S DVD release with "William" and "So Very Ordinary".

  ABC's LIFE AS WE KNOW IT used "Moco Loco" from UK rockers Moco for a delectable scene.

  Our favorite W/B series uses: Ing "Springfield Avenue", Sex Slaves "Waiting", The Bella Fayes "The Girl Most Likely", Slowreader "Falling on the World", Superdrag "Baby's Waiting", Royal 7 "Nothing Ever Happens".

  Fox's NORTHSHORE uses some of our personal faves including Pop/rocker The Stereo's "Don't Say Uncle", Fall Out Boy's "Grand Theft Autumn" and The Bella Faye's bouncy "The Girl Most Likely"

  THE MOUNTAIN uses Sex & Reverb's unique jangly pop track "Dirty Lullaby"

  Alexis Harte's "Do What You Will" was heard on BILL MOYER'S NOW September 17, 2004 on PBS.

  Ing's AM radio inspired "Better Don't Do", with its blend of power pop rock, makes it into Smallville. Hum along.

  Nitro Records' TSOL is included in the soon-to-be released motion picture Window Theory with their track "Being In Love".

  Thomas Dolby booms again with the inclusion of "She Blinded Me With Science" in A&E's BOOMER NATION television documentary that documents, you guessed it, the Baby Boomer Generation.

  Patrick Conway's country-tinged "Brave Goodbye" makes it into another season of the Roswell 3 DVD release.

  The Pleased get their underground guitar licks a chance to be heard in the un-aired but soon to be released episode of Wonderfalls with their track "New Motivation".

  OpTic NoISe teams up with Machine Head for the six episode Spike TV series "On The Road".  Nitro Records, Surfdog Records and Fueled By Ramen artists figure prominently, including tracks from Divit, Echobrain, Jackpot, The AKA's and Fall Out Boy.  Heavy rockers Zeromind, hip hop brothers Hardnox and pop/punkers Eleventeen also go along for the ride.

  The Jerry Cantrell penned Alice In Chains tracks "Would" and "Them Bones" are included in the new release of TRUE CRIME: STREETS OF LA video game.

  H2S04's "Come On" finds its way into THE SOPRANOS Season Five, and in turn, we now know, without the benefit of subscribing to HBO, that Tony and Adriana will be reconciling their friendship in episode 5. Um...temporarily.

  Indie feature is host to numerous OpTic NoISe tracks including the sweet and silly pop/punk of Pansy Division ("First Betrayal"), The Pleased's "About Me", Sex and Reverb's grooving "Surrender", and Karmacoda's "Free". The Elevator Drops contribute their awesome techno pop track "Car".

  Platinum selling hip hop artist Mobb Deep is sampling Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science" in his upcoming single "Got It Twisted".

  OpTic NoISe is pleased to announce the addition of FUELED BY RAMEN and BONGO BEAT RECORDS to its roster for licensing representation. Fueled By Ramen is owned in part by Less Than Jake member Vince and powered by the skilled John Janick, whose A&R skills have acquired a consistently glorious catalogue of superbly creative talent in the pop/punk and indie rock genres. Canada's Bongo Beat Records includes the original 1983-1984 Katrina and the Waves recordings, (The Soft Boys') Kimberley Rew and NY underground folk rocker Joe Mannix.

  The Thomas Dolby penned "New Toy", performed by Lene Lovich, was used for TARGET STORE's holiday commercial nationwide.

  Nerfherder's silly and frenzied "Welcome To My World" can be heard in the Miramax film.

  Nerf's "Welcome To My World" was also used in the just released DVD, along with Wake's "Mind Is Yours", Joel Evan's swanky Sinatra-esque "Love Is The Name Of The Game" and Yellow 5's rocking "Downslide". Also used are Alkaline Trio's "1000 Stories" and "Blue In The Face".

  The season two series of DVD's are now in stores and include a flurry of ON tracks: Sex and Reverb's "Here She Comes Now", Patrick Conway's bittersweet "Brave Goodbye", Nero track "This Isn't Time", Wake's "Mind Is Yours" and the Zeromind rocker "Sick Inside". The first season includes "Some Other Place" and "Hot Wheels A Go-Go" by Rubbersidedown, "Darkest Hour" by Glen Phillips and the awesome and catchy "Let's Go For A Ride" by Eleventeen.

  Hear Bracket's "No Brainer", Nitro Records' Lost City Angels "First Things First" and Nerfherder's "For You" in the Olsen Twins just released feature length movie.
